Bloody quangos.
How messed up is it that you can get a knuckle-rap for being good at what you do?
There’s an article on the BBC website about what the BBC Trust thinks of the BBC output.

It seems somewhat bizarre that they should expect the BBC to protect commercial rivals. So, should the BBC avoid reporting ‘common’ stories, in case their rivals want to report them?
It’s like the old joke of the bloke being fired for being too good at his job, as he was making the rest of the office look bad.
It’s a bit like the plot in ‘Hot Fuzz’ – and that’s a piece of comedic genius.
